“What do you want to be when you grow up?” Straight out of high school, I had aspirations of being an engineer. It was a great idea until I went to Northeastern University for electrical engineering and quickly discovered that I had no passion for it.
Failing at something for the first time academically wasn’t something I initially knew how to deal with, but I figured it out. I had always been a computer geek with a love for doodling and creating computer generated art, so I went into the graphic arts tech program at Springfield Technical Community College. This is where I discovered my love for graphic design, printing and marketing.
Starting with a 3rd shift, entry level graphic production job, my professional career has spanned three primary places of employment with very different cultures in corporate and family-owned environments. I am very driven and have always challenged myself and my teams to be better. I pride myself on being a leader and a mentor for those I have had the privilege of managing throughout my career. I have faced many challenges in implementation of new technology and streamlining processes in order to be more productive and profitable. I have overcome all challenges in order to be successful in each position that I have held and have never been “all about the title”. I am a consummate team player who likes to win.
I am more than my work and my passion for design. I am the proud father of two boys and I enjoy spending time with my family hiking, playing sports, going to the beach and going to the gym. I enjoy landscaping and home improvement projects and watch the Red Sox, Patriots, Celtics or Bruins in my “down time”. I have also been dedicated to another passion - my love for homebrewing!
